The Intermodal Expressive Arts Certificate Course is a comprehensive program designed to train participants to become certified Intermodal Expressive Arts Practitioners or Facilitators. Offered in collaboration with the European Graduate School in Switzerland, this course provides credit toward an MA in Expressive Arts Therapy, Education, or Peace-Building.
It is a unique opportunity to engage deeply with the arts as a medium for personal growth, professional development, and societal transformation.
Rooted in the understanding that human beings are inherently creative, the program integrates multiple art forms—painting, poetry, movement, music, theatre, and photography—to explore their dynamic interplay. Participants are guided to uncover the beauty, mystery, and transformative power of the arts, fostering healing, self-awareness, and creative empowerment. The course equips individuals with the skills to facilitate artistic processes for therapy, education, community engagement, and peace-building, making the arts a central tool for change.
The structured curriculum emphasizes intermodal methods that combine hands-on artistic practice, self-reflection, and theoretical frameworks. Participants will complete 30 days of in-person training across three modules (240 hours), alongside 140 hours of applied self-study and 24 hours of supervision, totaling 400 hours of immersive learning. Daily sessions are thoughtfully scheduled to provide an enriching balance of instruction, exploration, and practice from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM and 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM.
